Hydrazine sulfate is a compound composed of hydrazine salt and sulfuric acid, a colorless squamous or orthorhombic crystal. Tasteless. The relative density is 1.37. The melting point is 254°C. Slightly soluble in cold water and easily soluble in hot water, the aqueous solution is acidic. Insoluble in alcohol. Stable in the air, weak hygroscopicity. Substantial reducing property, avoid contact with alkalis and oxidants.

What is hydrazine sulfate used for?

The industrial role of hydrazine sulfate:

Raw materials such as azobisisobutyronitrile. It can also be used as a reducing agent, mainly used in metal surface treatment, analytical reagents, and the purification of rare metals.

Hydrazine sulfate agricultural role:

Used as an insecticide, fungicide, etc.

Hydrazine sulfate medicinal effect:

Brain tumors: Taking hydrazine sulfate and chemotherapy improves neurological symptoms in patients with brain cancer. It may also help reduce tumor size in people with a specific type of glioblastoma.

General weight loss and wasting are associated with cancer. Early research suggests that hydrazine sulfate might slow weight loss in some cancerous people.

Hodgkin’s disease (lymphoma). Research suggests that hydrazine sulfate might slow the progression of advanced Hodgkin’s disease.

Nerve cancer (neuroblastoma). There is some evidence that hydrazine sulfate may stop the growth of neuroblastoma.
